We began the class by brainstorming some different topics of conversation. Then you asked your partner three questions each about three different topics (for a total of 9 questions). It was a little challenging for you, but you did a good job. Then we looked at the classroom English expressions and started the textbook. Can I ask you some questions? How was class for you? Good evening everyone! Well, we just finished class right now and I wanted to thank you for coming. We had a pretty big class tonight because we had two visitors, Mika and Noriyuki. Tonight we did quite a bit of work, so I hope you're not too tired. At first we had an open discussion about our past week. Then we interviewed our parter with some questions that we brainstormed on the white board. That exercise was interesting! We could find out a lot of new things about each other. Then we brainstormed some Classroom English and Greetings. Finally, we worked in the textbook and finished Lesson A in Unit 1. Lots of work, but you all did a good job! Good evening! Well, tonight it took a while to get our class started properly since there was only one student in class at the very beginning of the lesson. Then one by one, the rest of you came to class. Please try to be on time for class in the future! I know you're busy and sometimes can't make it on time, but please try to come on time when you can. Good evening everyone! Well, today was our last class of the semester and we ended up with a class of six, including Eri, a student from David's class. Today we had a special conversation class! One of the new teachers, Trish, came to our class to give a self-introduction, listen to your introductions and answer your questions. I was so impressed with you work tonight, so thank you so much for trying hard and welcoming Trish to our class. Actually, she was also very impressed with your level and was so happy to have met you. Great job everyone! Well, next semester this class with changed quite a bit, but I'm still looking forward to seeing all of you again (in other classes, around JOY or around Obihiro)! Good evening! Tonight we had a really BIG class of ten students!!! It was a lot of fun though and I hope you all had a good time. Actually, this wasn't our last class of the semester, but we did the "last class" activity because both Masako and Shiho will not come to class next week (for our real last class of the semester!). We also had two visitors from David's Step 1 classes who did a great job in class even though they didn't know much about the other class members. We did a "how well do you know your classmates and teacher" exercise tonight. It was a lot of fun! Some answers were easy to guess, but others were a little difficult.
