More Catching-Up
Hi again – It’s been a long time since I have written a blog post, but I thought I would tell you a little about our Tokyo trip from December. I know that Orin already posted some pictures, but I will tell you something a little different. Look at this picture:
I am in Omotesando with my sister, Cara, and our friend. His name is Daryl, and he lives in Tokyo with his wife and children. Maybe you’re wondering, “How does Kendra know someone in Tokyo?” I will tell you the answer: He was my Japanese teacher in middle school! He is also a friend of my family. I have known him for more than ten years, but I hadn’t seen him for a long time. It was good to visit him, and meet his children for the first time. Here is a picture of Daryl’s two boys, Masumi and Saori.
I hope that I can visit them again. We had a good time in Tokyo. Do you have friends or family in Tokyo? Tell me! See you at JOY!
Hello, Kendra! How are you?
You have a good friend as Japanese techer, don’t you? It’ a good thing to meet old friends, mates, co-workers, teachers and parents. Actually, my parents have lived in Tokyo, and I meet them once a year.
By the way, I’d like to ask a few questions, ‘middle school’ means ‘high school’? And your friend, Daryl, his both two boy’s name sound like girl’s name. Sure, their appearace are indeed ‘boy’ on picture you took, though. Are they boys or girls? I was wondering, if they were boys, what do they have their own Chinese character?
See you soon, thank you!
