Korea Part II
Hello again. I ended the last post with a description of the border and a picture of barbed wire, so I want to continue with more pictures from the border.
Here is a picture of the North Korean flag on top of the world’s tallest flagpole – 160m tall!

The main stop of our tour was Panmunjom, a village on the border between North and South Korea. We were allowed to visit a building on the border which is used for meetings between the two countries. Half of the building is in the North, and half is in the South. The following picture shows a table with 3 microphones in the middle of it. That is the border! North Korea is on the right, and South Korea is on the left. The South Korean guard is standing right on the border. The woman in the green shirt next to him was our English-speaking tour guide.
