JOY Concert

I just want to say thank you to everyone who came to our concert on Saturday. You were a wonderful audience and you made that night one that I will remember forever. It was so exciting to perform in front of so many friends, coworkers, and students. We were also very impressed with your bluegrass singing skills! I didn’t know I was surrounded by so many amazing bluegrass singers until that night!! I can’t wait for our next concert on August 29th. I hope to see you there.
After the concert was over on Saturday night, Mr. Urashima took us to El Rancho Paso and we had a great experience there. We met the director of the Academy Award-winning movie, “The Departures,” and played two bluegrass songs for him and his friends. The movie is called “Okuribito” in Japanese. They loved our music.
