Happy October!
Hello everyone, and happy October! The weather has finally become cooler, and the leaves are beginning to turn color. I wish it could be fall forever! I love this time of year. I also love Halloween.
Last year, we had a Halloween party at JOY. This year, unfortunately, we don’t have time. However, we can still do things like dress in costumes, carve jack-o-lanterns, and roast pumpkin seeds.
I know Halloween isn’t so popular in Japan, but I love it! I think it’s really fun to dress in a funny costume. Have you ever celebrated Halloween? Do you have children who celebrate Halloween? Why don’t you tell me your experiences with Halloween, and at the end of the month, I will tell your stories on my blog!
Happy October!
Hello again! And nice to meet you as our new techer!
I’m always reading you two, Kendra and Orin, blog but I don’t leave a comment, sorry! However, it’s really fun and I can’t wait next one everytime.
As you know, we Japanese don’t have the CUSTOM, Halloween. It was not more popular when I was child about 40 years ago. But nowadays, a lot of things become to been sold at store as seasonal goods. It’s interesting to decorate here and there. Do you have a custom of carving jack-o-lantern? I never do it though, sounds interesting. Also I want to try pumpkin berad. It looks delicious!
Anyway, I’m looking forward to meeting next class, too!
