Bring Your Own Bento
Do you know what BYOB means? It means “Bring Your Own Beer.” You can sometimes see BYOB written at the bottom of a party invitation. Did you know that JOY is having a BYOB event? There’s just one thing that’s different: instead of beer, we’re having BENTO!
I hope mine looks like this one:
Do you think Orin will make that for me??
JOY’s BYOB Night is on Tuesday, April 27th. It’s from 6 PM to 7 PM. Everyone will bring their own bento, so don’t worry about bringing food for others. It’s a very casual event – both Japanese and English are OK. You can meet some other JOY students and chat with Joe, Orin, Shinobu, and me. It’s going to be really fun! I hope you can come – and remember: BYOB!
