Shakotan

Hi everyone! Two weeks ago, Orin and I took a trip to Shakotan peninsula. It was so beautiful. The scenery reminded me of Seattle, so I got a little homesick. It was good to see the ocean again!
In Yoichi, we went to the Nikka whisky distillery. There was a great museum, and we bought a lot of whisky!

We arrived at Shakotan Cape, and went through a dark tunnel, and down many stairs. We looked at the water and the cliffs, and then we ate nama chirashi for lunch! It was a great trip. Have you been to Shakotan?
