South Korea, Part 1: Seoul
Hello, everyone!
Well, we’re back from summer vacation. We had a great time in South Korea. The food was great, the people were great, the scenery was great, and – did I say the food was great? Orin and I both took so many pictures, it would be impossible to show you all the good ones in one blog entry. I’ve decided to break my pictures into 3 entries: Seoul, the Demilitarized Zone (or DMZ), and the east coast of South Korea (Sokcho, Geongju, and Busan).
So, here we go! Enjoy!
This first picture might be the funniest one I took: the sign says “Unreal Hill,” and sure enough, there is no hill!

This next picture is in the Seoul Tower women’s bathroom! I wish my bathroom at home had this wonderful view!

This next picture: A market called Nandaemun.

Well, that’s it for now. Stay tuned for more pictures from South Korea!

Wow, where did you take the #2 photo?
Are these….doors????
I think that they are pictures of the door.
It will not be able to come home if I get drunk.
ha-ha-ha
Yes, these are doors. They were covering the outside of a building. I am not sure what they were for, but my guess is that they were for an art project through one of the universities. Their beauty for me was that the building was so large, and there were so many doors, but I had no idea what they were for. There is so much symbolism here!
And Yumiko, I agree. I wouldn’t be able to come home drunk to that house, either.
