Last week we tried to solve a problem with four neighbors, We used a Committee Meeting as a way to discuss complaints and reach solutions, using requests and responses. The committee kept the atmosphere positive and cooperative and a solution was reached. All neighbors would help and the negative neighbor would throw a thank you party afterwards. We worked from page 20 and did the Listening activity and Phrasal verbs. A good way to understand the meaning of phrasal verbs is to rewrite them as synonyms-rewrite, leave, switch, watch, discard, find, visit and tell me. Next week, we'll play the review game on page 22, then start Unit 4 Interests.
