Miki is looking after her friend's dog while she's away on a business trip. She drops by her friend's apartment on her way home from work and feeds and walks the dog. Miki's really a cat person, but she likes her friend's dog. Yumiko doesn't like cats at all. She drove to Kuriyama with her husband and stopped at a farmer's market along the way for vegetables. They waited in line for thirty minutes to eat raman and felt it was worth the wait. Kyoko went to Churui village near Nakasatsanai to buy lily root bread. Sounds strange but she says its delicious.
