Teiko went to her daughter's piano concert at Daichi Junior High School. The school principal was her daughter's teacher when she was there. Ritsuko went to Toys-R-Us to buy her grand daughter a stuffed dog. She loves dogs but is allergic to them. Yoko's son came to visit from Tokyo. He and his family stayed for a week and they all went to a big barbecue at his mother-in-law's house. Keiko went to her high school reunion. Two of her former classmates had seen a picture of her garden in a small book and wanted to come and visit. One of them is from Shihoro and brought potatoes and potato chips from the area. Isamu went to Sarabetsu on Sunday for their Industrial Festival. They had stands featuring local products. Nobuko went to a park golf competition and then watched the Olympics on TV. Kiyomi went to her home town of Furano where she learned that Locate is going to open a factory and art museum. Ryoko's  birthday was last Saturday. Her husband and son gave her flowers and even though she cooked her own supper, her husband did the dishes. Happy birthday Ryoko, forever twenty nine.
