Both Isamu and Keiko stayed up all night to watch the Wimbledon match between Federer and Nadal. They both said it was worth it. Shoko and her husband went to Honbetsu to go hiking. Yuko and her husband drove to Ferano to see the lavender at Tomita Farm. Ryoko and her family went to Sennen No Mori to walk and have lunch at the soba restaurant. Nobuko took care of her granddaughter for a day and got a scare. She took her to the hospital complaining of stomach pains, but she was ok. Kiyomi went to the pottery fair in Otufke and got a great deal at 50% off. Ritsuko visited the Kushiro disaster prevention centre as part of the Otufke prevention  group. They did some training with the firefighters. Teiko watched the Ham Fighters play the Orix Buffaloes at Obihiro stadium. It was a sold out game and she enjoyed it even though the fighters lost.
