Step 2B
Good evening everyone! Well, tonight we had a fairly small class with only five students, but I had a very nice time as usual. We started the class with pair discussions and then we worked in the textbook, first looking quickly at the new grammar presented in the book and then studying some useful verb phrases. I made a mistake and thought Hiroyuki already studied this lesson, so it was kind of embarrassing for me! We also had a discussion at the end of the class to try and find out similar likes and dislikes with our classmates. I forgot to tell you this, but we'll probably start my one-on-one interviews next week (I do this every September and January). Take care and have a good week! Bye for now!

Hey Masaki! Thanks for your message. It was great hearing from you, as usual.
I'm so happy that you always enjoy my class. I hope we can both have fun and learn a lot every time.
Well, to answer your question, I always do a one-on-one interview with all my students in September. I will talk to you, just the two of us, and I will check your English fluency, listening comprehension and some of the grammar we've learned this past semester. It's a good chance for you to practice having an interview in English.
About the oil, I have the same worry! I have to be careful not to use too much oil, but at the same time, I don't want to be cold in my apartment. It's a shame that you didn't fill up your tank in the spring.
Anyway, take care and have a good week. Bye for now!
Good evening Joe! Thank you for the class on every Monday. I'm always enjoying that class.
Anyway, I read your message and find these words, one-on-one interviews.
Hey, what is that? Is that like a conversation's competence test? I become a little nervous.(laugh)
It gets cold despite August in these days. How strange... I might need a heater after a couple of days. I'll be worried about a oil price from now. It seems twice higher than the last year. I found the tank almost empty. So I have to buy some oil.
Have a great this week! See you next Monday!
