Good evening. I had a nice time with you in class tonight, so thank you all for coming. Unfortunately, there were three absent students this week (and where did Masami go?). However, Yukako from my Thursday morning came so it was great having a different face in class tonight. After pair discussions, we checked the homework and then brainstormed some responses to the grammar structure (making requests and asking permission). Then we worked on the vocabulary section on page 17. You thought up many original phrasal verb phrases, so I was impressed with your work. Then we practiced making requests and asking permission using the phrasal verb phrases. Again, I was impressed by your progress! You did almost perfectly!
