OLYMPIC COUNTDOWN
The Vancouver Olympics is just under two years away! It's so exciting for Canadians and even more exciting for those of us who are from British Columbia.
I took this picture in Vancouver. It counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler.

Hello Tokue! Thanks for your message, it's great to hear from you! Yes, I had a great time in Canada over the Golden Week holidays.
So your son has been to Vancouver and Whistler? That's great! I hope a lot of people will visit Canada both in the near future and during the winter Olympics. We can cheer on Japan and Canada's teams together!
Thanks again for commenting! Bye for now!
Hello, Joe
I haven't see you for a long time in this blog.
Actually, my PC wasn't cntacted for along time. Then now it revovered.
By the way, it seemed you had a good time in Canada. I hear Vancouver and Whisler are good scenic cities and good atomosphere from my son.
And, ski slopes are excellent, too.
Then I wish Manami Hino will enter this olympic as a bobsleight athlete.
Hello Atsuko! Thanks for your message. I have to apologize to you for my blog site. For some strange reason, students cannot comment to most of my entries. We are trying to fix it, but it may take some time. Until we can fix it, you can always e-mail me to my e-mail address. Is that okay?
By the way, I bought the maple syrup pritz in Canada and apparently you can't buy them in Japan (only in Canada). I have no idea when I can return to Canada next, but I will be sure to find some more and bring you some!
Wow, the weather today is really BAD! I got so wet on my way to work and I feel very cold from the dampness in the air. And it's way too windy! My umbrella even broke on my way to work!
Anyway, have a good day and week and I'll talk to you again soon. Bye for now!
Hi Joe! How's it going? Well, actually, I don't know why, I couldn't send you my message on step 2M. I tried it again and again from yesterday, but I couldn't do well. So I sent it to this category...I'm so sorry!
By the way, thanks for the maple syrup pritz!! It was soooo delicious!! Where did you get it? Would you tell me it? My sons also want to know it!
Well, it's a heavy windy day today, so please take care when you'll go to JOY for work. Talk to you soon, Joe! Bye!!
Hello Masaki! Thank you for commenting on my pictures! You are the first student to do so and that makes me so happy!!!
I never really thought about the shape of the monument. I just imagined a mountain made of rock and a tree (like a totem pole) because of Canada's vast nature. But I think you may be right! It looks like a hockey stick now that you mentioned it!
Thanks again for your comment and brilliant insight! Talk to you later!
It's very intereting shape.
What is imagine of this shape?
I wonder that's an ice hockey stick.
What imagine do you feel?
