Waffles

It has been a good three-day weekend even though I worked JOY projects a little each day. I was also able to get several small things done around my house. I have been wanting to put up a shelf in my office and rearrange things to make it easier to use. Now that is done and I fixed a few loose door handles and drawer knobs.

Last night Noriko said she had a craving for pancakes, so I had planned to make them. At the last minute I decided to try waffles for the first time in a long time. I was a little reluctant because the last couple times I had tried it was a disaster. The waffles stuck to the iron or I burned them. Well, today they were absolutely great! I think I know the trick now, so I will have to try again soon.
