Jazz Festival Day 2
It sprinkled a little in the night and even though it looked like it might rain a few times during the day we had good weather. Luckily, we but on sun screen otherwise we would have been badly burned.
Before going to the jazz festival we went to the Rose Garden and looked around. Noriko found one variety of rose that she really liked so she bought two plants. She also got some tips on how to take care of them. Supposedly this variety is strong and easy to take care of.
Last year we paid extra for seats near the stage, but we learned our lesson that sitting on the grass on the hill is much more comfortable. We got a good place because we got there early, but it really wasn't that crowded.
We enjoyed all the groups, but there was one jazz singer that wasn't all that great. The trio she was singing with was just fine, but her voice just doesn't have any power or range left in it.
We got back last night late, so I was too tired to post something. It was a great trip and the weather cooperated. We heard about the storm that hit Tokachi.
