Good Weekend?

On Saturday we had a New Year's party for the forestry group that we are members of. One of the people is originally from Osaka, so he and his wife made takoyaki and okonomiyaki. They were really good and very different from the type you can get in Obihiro. I made homemade vanilla ice cream and it turned out really well. I haven't made it in a long time, so I was afraid that I had forgotten the recipe.

Today I worked at cleaning out Noriko's car because she will be getting a different one on Monday. While I was outside I decided to also get all the garbage ready to put out this week. I had to break down a lot of cardboard boxes and sort some cans and bottles. Sometimes I wonder how meaningful it is to separate all the different types of garbage.
