Beautiful morning
I didn't post anything about my weekend on Saturday or Sunday because I was just too tired both nights. On Saturday we had our neighborhood cleaning which meant getting up at 6:00. After that I went out and cut wood until noon. While I was cutting wood Noriko was looking for wild vegetables. For lunch we went to Sawarbi Terrace, but they don't do lunch on weekends now. Luckily, they still have udon and quiche, plus their delicious cakes. Did you know that you can pick warabi there? It is only 500 yen for as much as you can pick. When we got home I trimmed up the wild roses and pulled a few weeds.
On Sunday, I spent most of the morning doing Chikudai work because in the evening we planned to go to a movie, but before that I needed to help out cutting grass in Obihiro-no-mori. We try to keep the grass down on the nature trail that I our group made. Of course, the more people who use it helps and by the looks of the trail more and more people are enjoying the course. The movie that we saw is called The Bucket List with Jack Nickolson and Morgan Freeman. It was a fun movie, but both actors played pretty much their typical character.
I am writing this post out on my deck after my morning walk. It was so peaceful until a little while ago. Now people are getting up and getting ready for work, there is more traffic which means I need to get ready for my day as well.
