In discussing the article we discovered many of the Japanese public holidays are hard to classify according the author's definition. We talked about why some the public holidays in the States might be "problematic" and then talked about Japanese traditions. Most of the talk centered on New Years. We will talk more about that later. I have given you a research project and I am looking forward to what you discover.
