People didn't have much special news today. Sayuri did say she learned two new words because of all of the coverage of the tainted food from China. She learned that gyoza are also called "dumplings" and that they were contaminated with "pesticide".

We talked about family rules and things that were prohibited, and permitted and things there were obligated or not obligated to do. There were a wide range of things people talked about.

After that we did the listening exercise about the different offices and the guesses were only correct for one of the offices. The office cultures for all three were quite different. Sayuri,
It is good to hear that your husband is okay and I hope the people involved in the accident will be okay.

Hi,everyone.
Last night I was very upset to hear the news about the peace boat.
But now I'm so relieved.
My husband didn't get on the bus.
The boat is heading to the next port,Cape Town.
I'm sure he comes back home in April cheerfully.
