Kieko was back tonight after about a month break. She shared some big news with us, but Maki wasn't here, so I will let Kieko tell her next class.

The homework was to bring some photos and both Shunsuke and Susumu brought some interesting ones. Susumu brought some slides of a trip he made to the Himalayas to see Mt, Everest. The shots of the plane and runway were pretty dramatic. After talking about his photos we talked a little bit about trains and traveling between Sapporo and Obihiro in the old days. Susumu said it was nice to be able to ride in the dinning car. Both Shunsuke and Kieko didn't know that there used to be a dinning car on the that line.

The homework for next class is pp130-31 3A & B. We will also get to hear a little bit about Taiwan.
